Okay, so I've had my fill of President Bush and his administration and their lies!!! If I hear one more person from that administration say "We're taking care of our responsibilities, the things that are most important," I'm gonna fucking blow my top. I have had it. I'm sorry but last time I checked Americans are the ones who voted for him and made him our president, not the people in Iraq or in Indonesia or Pakistan or Afghanistan. So when exactly did the people who have nothing to do with putting you in the position you are in become more important that your own people?? Why I'm asking this is, what about those people in New Orleans, those people who have no homes to go home to, those kids who are displaced going to schools that they don't know anyone, those people who would give anything just to go home, just to have their lives back, just to have their families together again. Those people that had their lives ripped apart because our president ignored the warning, ignored the experts when they told him about the levees when they told him that the possibilities were pretty great of a catagory 5 hurricane hitting that area. They're the ones that voted for him, they put him in office, and what is he doing now?? Ignorning them and their needs. And sending 20 or 30 thousand troops at a time to Iraq, why not send them to New Orleans, and start rebuilding?? Isn't our own country and it's stability more important than a country that's already torn aparts?? I mean honestly, don't you think that seeing that New Orleans is like it is and nothing being done about it, no attention being paid to it is sending the wrong message to terrorists?? Because what it looks like to me is "oh that's too bad, but that other country is more important than our own," Yeah that's really the message we wanna be sending them. HOW MANY MORE FUCKING AMERICAN LIVES DO WE HAVE TO LOSE BEFORE HE GETS A FUCKING CLUE?!?! Take care of your own country and the people, or you're gonna sit by and let another 9/11 happen, no matter what homeland security is doing. I think it's time people stop sitting around and pull their heads out of their asses and start doing something at home. Don't just talk about what you're doing or what you're going to do, we're sick of hearing it, we wanna see you do something. We wanna see you give a shit about those people from New Orleans, see that you really do give a shit about the people in this country who had faith in you, and believed in you. Those troops are over their fighting for what you believe is right and a just cause, what message do you think you're sending them when you're completely ignoring the devastation in New Orleans?? Do you really think they're gonna wanna fight for you anymore?? Enough is enough, stop sacrificing American lives for your own gain. Because you may be gaining elsewhere in the world, but you're losing whatever little support you have left here. 37% approval rating for our president the last time I heard them talk about it on the news, that's pretty sad. Americans don't even believe in the person they elected to office anymore, but it's understandable, he hasn't exactly shown much care for the American people, just look at New Orleans. 2 months, not much longer, I guess we just pray there isn't another Katrina this year and that New Orleans doesn't end up completely whiped off the face of the earth. Whether you like that city or not, people call it home and love the city, it would be as devistating as losing a loved one for some people, some people who have already suffered more devistation and let downs in 6 months, than many people do in their whole lives. Why can't our government do something??? WHY?!?!

praireyGOOD QUESTION!!! chimpy mcflightsuit blows. i read somewhere that all the money spent on the dumb "war" would pay for 4 years of college for all kids under 18. and he wants to put some american money toward universal health care in iraq. does that make ANY sense at all?? my taxes are paying for the iraqis health care, but i can't afford health insurance for myself?? i need to move to sweden or canada or something.
